A reliable water leak proof base for holding grow bags, PP sheet is used. Refer to GA FOR cut out with dimensions. PP Sheet comes in different standard size, light weight and gives good reliability.

How to construct:  Cut the PP Sheet, 5 mm Thick, as per your requirement and to make it water leak proof, Aqua Seal Silicone was used along cyanoacrylate, is 1:1, One bottle of silicone for one 20 ml bottle of cyanoacrylate. Mix it well and apply to all the opening along with every bend there, from inside and outside too, for better rigidity. Let it dry for 48 hours, do not try to remove it forcefully. Refer Images.

Multiple trials was done after construction and several times it showed some leak, it was rectified and no water leak was found. Similarly, an EBB and Flood Try was constructed Image 4 and along with that Evaporative cooling pad system water collection unit was constructed Refer Image.

Alternate Solution: Acrylic Sheets, Plywood, Metals and etc can be used to construct.

Conclusion: PP sheet is the most economical solution along with the Silicone and the glue as it is resting on frame so no much load it has to handle they weight load is evenly distributed. Multiple boxes and different sizes can be achieved from 1 sheet. For extremely long base, suggestion would be to look for alternate solutions.
