Why/where/when - Use this solution if there’s a really long cut which needs immediate attention before you change the film of that section.

Tape having self adhesive non drying chemical free glue , used for patching the damages /cut/ tear on plastic , you need to clean the area of application both side , it should be dust and moist free , and apply on the area from one side , giving support to other side , (Like puncture repair) after fixing leave the tape (don't try to remove and check) and the work is done

2. Is it really worth to buy - YES! Having a greenhouse means be ready for the unexpected circumstances.

3.What’s the other solution- Silicon mixed with Acracynatine. Apply on small holes or near to the joints, mix both in a proportion of,  1:1 Silicone bottle and Acracynatie, respectively. Recommend when there’s a good leakage and you really don’t want to change the film nor it is affecting rest of the greenhouse with sunlight, can hold all weather plus heavily reliable.
